Theoretical training at Sousse University

The University of Sousse hosted theoretical training as part of the ERASMUS + SATELIT project on the 27th, 28th and 29th of March 2018. This training was provided by Sarah Dahl, Director of Legal Affairs and Intellectual Property, SATT-SE and Stéphane Bergamini, Director of the Transfer, SATT-SE. 12 participants representatives: the University of Sousse, the University of Sfax and the Tunisian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research benefited from this training. This training allowed to introduce the valorisation of the results of the public research and to see closely the legal model of a SATT. In addition, three main areas of technology transfer : protection, maturation and marketing have been addressed in detail with exchanges on best practices.

On the sidelines of this training, a meeting between the experts of SATT-SE and the president of the University of Sousse Prof. Ali Mtiraoui was organized dealing with the importance of technology transfer and innovation for the economic development of Tunisia and the avenues for collaboration to establish good practices within the university.
