Practical placement in Marseille and Toulon - France

Aix-Marseille University and Toulon University welcomed their Moroccan partners from the 9th to 13th of July as part of the Erasmus + SATELIT project.

This practical internship was organized for eight leaders of innovation and valorisation activities within the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the universities Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah of Fes and Mohammed V of Rabat.

During this week, the participants were able to meet many actors of innovation and valorization within the two universities as well as their partners:

-          Aix-Marseille University: Research and Valorisation Department

-          Impulse inter-university incubator

-          University of Toulon: Anne Molcard, Vice-President Research Commission and Frédéric Bouchara, Vice-President, Promotion, Research and Projects Directorate

-          Technology platforms of the University of Toulon

-          Toulon Var Technologie

-          Maison du Numérique et de l’Innovation de Toulon

-          SATT-SE

-          Fresnel Institute

 

The CEREQ, Center for Studies and Research on Qualifications, presented the results for Morocco of the PhD student professionalization survey carried out as part of the project. This presentation was followed by a debate.

Throughout the week, recommendations were made to strengthen the Cities of Innovation of Fez and Rabat and to develop activities of innovation, enhancement of public research and transfer of technology in Morocco.

The SATELIT project, "Academic Solutions for the Euro-Mediterranean Territory Leader of Innovations and Technological Transfers of Excellence", is an international cooperation project co-financed by the European Commission within the framework of the Erasmus + Program Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education, from October 15, 2016 to October 14, 2018. It is coordinated by Aix-Marseille University.
