The impact of SATELIT

The impact of capacity reinforcement, by advancing knowledge and techniques, is expected in first place on the Universities, on the improvement and the professionalisation of Innovation and Technology Transfer university offices, which will thus offer a better level of Service to Teachers-Researchers and PhD Students. This rise will position the universities or consolidate their role in the ecosystem of the innovation chain, in their local environment and will have a leverage effect on increasing the employability of doctoral students by creating start-ups and companies. The application of innovative technological approaches and operational solutions, adapted to local conditions is another local impact.

The Ministries of Higher Education will implement and supervise at the national level the Conference days of Alliances and Meetings between Universities, Companies and PhD Students. They will have an impact for the latter with, in addition to the participation of social actors such as the National Employment Agencies of the three countries. The conference days may be duplicated in non-partner universities. The SATELIT project will also have a striking force in national policies, since the Ministries of Education and Employment and the Maghreb Profesional Training will be the recipients of the findings of the survey to launch the project of professionalization PhD students.

The PACA Region will be the starting point for new partnerships with the local authorities of the other 5 countries, during the maturation and post-project: on the political aspect of Innovation for the economic and social sectors of their territory, for creating sustainable and skilled jobs. Economic impact having a boost of benefits in the Mediterranean region, boosting growth, creating jobs in the context of sustainable development. Social impact: with the capacity of young graduates, particularly PhD students, to enhance their readability in the context of job search. They will have an impact for the latter with, in addition to the participation of social actors such as the National Employment Agencies of the three countries.

The SATELIT project will combine skills and activities that will have an impact in the short, medium and long term for greater efficiency through synergies and complementarities between the various involved bodies. The sharing of knowledge and know-how on the Culture of Innovation will require a polarization of regional scale, in the sense of the neighborhood advocated by Erasmus Plus: the Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Education and Innovation will be a tangible, visible and durable result of the project of the partner countries and actors. But it will widen geographically, academically, institutionally, with leading industrial sectors, student associations, inter-cultural stakeholders, shareholders and promoters of projects related to the topic and already funded by the European Commission, under its programs. This capitalization of the results will also value the Education and Research policies of the European Union. It will thus contribute to the development of a high-performance competitiveness area and the Euro-Mediterranean area of Higher Education and Innovation.
